In January 2022, wichstandup downloaded the 8Bit Painter application and drew with random lines for relaxation, but when he noticed that one of his drawings resembled a human face, he immediately began to draw the next picture and has continued to draw until now. This is the starting point for the Pioneer Portrait project.

Pioneer Portrait is simply defined as the "universe." Each portrait depicts a person who lives in their own metaverse. As a result, the appearance and species are completely different. They do, however, share one thing in common: they all live in the Pioneer Portrait universe.

The Painter is a metaverse traveler who follows and searches for notable people to draw on a 16x16 pixel grid. These portraits are from the Pioneer Portrait collection. He also has a personal collection titled "Pioneer Portrait Painter" by his own inspiration.

The Creator is the person who transformed The Painter's portraits into NFT. He plans to sell NFT on Paras.id, using $NEAR as a trading currency, with a total of 200 portraits. The Painter had promised to draw a total of 10,001 portraits for him. Perhaps he didn't think The Painter would be successful.

The Writer, in comparison to the Painter and the Creator, is the most enigmatic. No one knows where he is right now. But, when the time comes, he'll give the Creator a story or a note that will serve as raw material for the creation of NFT. His work can be found in the Meta Messenger collection.

Pioneer Portrait is improvised pixel art character that started with random line by hand drawing, non generated. The project aims to create 10,001 unique collectible characters, but only 200 will come with proof of ownership, and each one can only be officially owned by one person on NEAR Protocol (Supply: 200) then we make decision by holders as DAO.

The remaining 9,801 characters drawing video, It will be used as exclusive content for those who have purchased the Pioneer Portrait.

These unique characters were created on 16x16 pixel canvas which is make them unclear and vague. This is how fascinated and enjoyable of this project when the others see something differently.

Each character is running by sequence of number that followed by drawing sequence. Now, they could be purchased from Paras.id, choose wisely.
